The star of the park is the picturesque Mukilteo light house. Entry to the grounds of the lighthouse is from April to October only. I will post an update to this post in April with pictures of the lighthouse.
A short distance away from the lighthouse is the park. You can kick back and watch the ferries ply back and forth all day. On clear sunny days you will also see Mount baker to your North.
Some of the best picture opportunities here will be during sunset. You can see some gorgeous sunsets over Whidbey island and the distant Olympics! Try to use the boats coming into the loading dock as foreground. Dont leave immediatly after the sun sets - a few minutes after sunset is the best time for your shots.

When I was here, a gentleman was feeding the gulls While I don't condone this behavior,I am not one to miss a good opportunity - I got some interesting shots of the seagulls at sunset. Visit my flickr site for more shots of this location.

Darshan, you are providing a very fine service for photographers with this site - thank you! I've been shooting in Seattle for 20 years and many of these locations are known to me but there are a few I've not known about...
